Hi guys, how're you? Did you have a fun day? I hope so. So, today i want to discuss about Makoto Shinkai Who is not familiar with Makoto Shinkai. Yup, he's the creator of Anime 5 Centimeter Per Second, Kotonoha no Niwa, Hoshi Wo Ou Kodomo, and many other works. I really like him, his Art is so life. If you have seen the works of Makoto Shinkai? Oh man.. You should see it, his work is very good.










 Let's start with the works of Makoto Shinkai-sensei's Work..

Kanojo to Kanojo Neko (Her and Her Cat : Their Standing Points).

Kanojo to Kanojo Neko

 Kanojo to Kanojo Neko is made in 1999. It's just a short animation (5min), and just one episode. The main character is the cat, not the women. Not a big work, but i'ts a good Anime.

Plot :
This short but sweet film revolves around She, a woman whose name is never uttered, and her pet cat, Chobi. Their first meeting was beautiful. One rainy day, She found Chobi abandoned outside and decided to bring him home with her. Chobi instantaneously fell for his kind and gentle owner. He had not only found a home, but also the love of his life.But can their relationship ever become anything more than just pet and owner?

Hoshi no Koe (Voice of Distant Star)

Hoshi no Koe is made in 2002. This Anime is one episode and the duration is 25 min. So far, only this is using genre "Mecha".

Plot :
Hoshi no Koe, using full 2D and 3D digital animation, is a story of a long distance love and mail messages between a boy and girl. Set in 2046 after the discovery of the ruins of an alien civilization on Mars, man has been able to make leaps in technology and is planning to send an expedition into space in the next year. Nagamine Mikako and Terao Noboru are junior high school students. However, while Noboru will be entering senior high next winter, Mikako is selected to join the space expedition.

Egao is made in 2003. This is a another short animation of Makoto-sensei. Only one episode and just 2 min.

Plot :
A young woman brought a hamster back to her apartment. While watching the cuteness of the hamster was enjoyable, she suddenly recalled her boyfriend she used to have....

Kumo no Mukou, Yakusoku no Basho (The Place Promised in Our Early Days )

Kumo no Mukou, Yakusoku no Basho is made in 2004. This is movie with duration 1 hr 30 min. On this work, Makoto-sensei already started to show his genius in drawing.

Plot :
In an alternate timeline, Japan was divided after losing World War II: Hokkaido was annexed by "Union" while Honshu and other southern islands were under US sovereignty. A gigantic yet mysterious tower was constructed at Hokkaido and could be seen clearly from Aomori (the northernmost prefecture of Honshu) across Tsugaru Strait. In the summer of 1996, three 9th-graders had made a promise that one day they'll build an aircraft and unravel the tower's mystery, but their project was abandoned after the girl, Sayuri Sawatari, began experiencing sleeping sickness and transferred to Tokyo for better treatment. Three years later, Hiroki Fujisawa accidentally found out that Sayuri had been in a coma since then, and he asked Takuya Shirakawa to help him finding a way to revive her. What they don't know yet is that Sayuri's unconsciousness is somehow linked with secrets of the tower and the world.

Byousoku 5 Centimeter is made in 2007. This movie has 3 episodes, but merged in 1.with the duration 22 min each other. This is one of my favorite. The detail of the art is so good.

Plot :
Toono Takaki and Shinohara Akari, two very close friends and classmates, are torn apart when Akari's family is transferred to another region of Japan due to her family's job. Despite separation, they continue to keep in touch through mail. When Takaki finds out that his family is also moving, he decides to meet with Akari one last time.

As years pass by, they continue down their own paths, their distance slowly growing wider and their contact with one another fades. Yet, they keep remembering one another and the times they have shared together, wondering if they will have the chance to meet once again.

Hoshi wo Ou Kodomo is made in 2011. This Anime has 1 episode with duration 1 hr 56 min. Another good work from Makoto-sensei. I can feel the soul of the art. But this time, the story isn't that great. I'm not really like it.

Plot :

Kotonoha no Niwa is made in 2013. This Anime has 1 eps with duration 46 min. Finally, my favorite Anime is appear. I really love this work. This is the best Anime from Makoto-sensei. Not only has a great art, but also in support with a fairly interesting story. The best lah...

Plot :
We have met, for each of us to walk forward.

Takao, who is training to become a shoemaker, skipped school and is sketching shoes in a Japanese-style garden. He meets a mysterious woman, Yukino, who is older than him. Then, without arranging the times, the two start to see each other again and again, but only on rainy days. They deepen their relationship and open up to each other. But the end of the rainy season soon approaches...

Kimi no Na Wa (Your Name)

Kimi no Na Wa

 Kimi no Na Wa is not aired yet. This Movie will aired in August 2016. I hope this movie will comparable with the last Makoto-sensei movie (Kotonoha no Niwa) or maybe better. Can't wait for this movie.

Plot :
The story is set one month after a comet has fallen for the first time in a thousand years in Japan. Mitsuha, a high school girl living in the countryside, wants to live in the city because she is tired of life in the country. Then, there's Taki. He's a high school student living in Tokyo with his friends while working as a part-timer at an Italian restaurant. He also has a strong interest in fine arts involving architecture. One day, Mitsuha dreams of herself as a young man. On the other hand, Taki also has a dream where he is a female student attending high school in the countryside. What's the secret behind their dreams?
